About GLP-1 Grades
GLP-1 Grades is an independent editorial publisher that grades GLP-1 and weight-loss clinics on their publicly documented transparency, sourcing, and compliance. We rank clinics by evidence anyone can verify, not by who buys advertising.
Why we exist
GLP-1 medications like semaglutide and tirzepatide created a gold rush of online weight-loss clinics almost overnight. Some are careful medical practices. Others are storefronts built to move prescriptions, with no licensed prescriber you can name, no lab work, and no one to call when something goes wrong. From the outside, the two can look nearly identical.
We built GLP-1 Grades to make that difference visible. Our goal is simple: help a person tell a legitimate provider from a prescription mill before they hand over a credit card and their health.
What we grade, and what a grade means
Grades reflect a clinic’s publicly documented practices only, such as whether it names a licensed prescriber, discloses its compounding pharmacy and that pharmacy’s registration status, requires lab work, and is transparent about pricing and cancellation terms. We read what a clinic publishes on its own site and in public records.
A grade is not an endorsement, and it is not a judgment about patient outcomes or whether a given clinic’s care is safe for you. It measures documented transparency and compliance, nothing more. The full rubric and the caps that can override a score live in our grading methodology.
Who we are
GLP-1 Grades is run by an editorial team. We want to be straightforward about what that means today: we do not yet have a named, licensed medical professional on staff, and we do not claim that a clinician has personally reviewed each page. Where a page shows a “Reviewed by” line, it refers to our editorial fact-checking process, not a physician sign-off. If a licensed medical reviewer joins the team, we will name that person, list their credentials, and update the affected pages. Our full approach to sourcing and corrections is on the medical review & editorial policy page.
We are a sibling site to peptidegrades.com, which applies the same transparency-first grading approach to peptide vendors.
How we stay independent
Grading is firewalled from advertising. Sponsorship or featured placement, if it ever exists, is disclosed conspicuously and never affects a clinic’s grade. Some outbound links may be affiliate links; those relationships do not influence which clinics we grade or the grades they receive.
Contact and corrections
Reach us at [email protected]. If you believe we got something wrong, send the page and the specific claim, with a source if you have one, and we will review it. Graded clinics also have a right of reply, described on our medical review page.
This site is informational and is not medical advice. Always confirm a clinic’s credentials directly with the clinic and your state medical board, and make treatment decisions with a licensed provider who knows your history.
